1. Introduction

3. The Service

DocWright provides tools to create, send, sign and get paid for business documents, including templates, e-signatures, payments and related features. We may add, change or remove features over time.

4. Accounts & security

You may create an account with an email and password or via a third-party sign-in provider such as Google. You are responsible for your credentials and for all activity in your workspace. Keep your login secure and tell us promptly at [SECURITY EMAIL] if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the documents, templates, assets and other material you upload or create ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, display and transmit Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and your intended recipients. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to use it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• send unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory or infringing content;
• send spam or unsolicited bulk messages;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
• upload malware, or attempt to probe, scan or breach the security of the Service; or
• reverse engineer or resell the Service except as permitted by law.

7. Electronic signatures

The Service supports electronic signatures. You are responsible for determining whether an electronic signature is appropriate and legally effective for your documents in your jurisdiction. We provide the tool, not legal advice on its use.

8. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties (for example payment providers, storage, email delivery and AI providers). Your use of those integrations may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Subscriptions, billing & refunds

Paid plans are billed per workspace in advance on a recurring basis through our payment provider. Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing on notice, effective at your next renewal.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service; they do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from Your Content or your breach of these Terms or of applicable law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required to protect the Service or other users. On termination your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive will survive.

15. Governing law
