Is there really a free plan?
Yes — Free is free forever, no card to start. You get the full editor (document, website and slideshow formats), the starter template gallery, fillable fields, named-recipient access and single-signer e-signing on up to three active documents. It's the real product, not a crippled demo.
What counts as a seat?
A seat is one member of your team with their own login who can create and edit documents. Clients who view, sign or pay never count as seats — they're always free, on every plan.
How does the £8 / seat overage work?
Pro and Team come with seats included. If your team grows beyond that, each additional editor is simply £8 / month — added or removed whenever you like, prorated to your billing date. No bands, no sales calls.
Can I change plans?
Anytime, in both directions. Upgrades unlock instantly; downgrades take effect at your next billing date so you keep what you've paid for. Cancel whenever you want and you drop back to Free.
Do you take a cut of payments?
No. Client payments run through your own Stripe account, so the only fees are Stripe's standard processing fees — DocWright never takes a percentage of what you collect.
How do custom domains work?
Team includes custom domains and white-label. On Free, Solo or Pro, add the £19 / month white-label add-on to your plan: serve documents from docs.yourstudio.com, send from your own domain and remove DocWright branding from every recipient-facing screen and email. Cancel the add-on anytime; your documents fall back to the DocWright link.
Is there a storage limit?
Each plan includes storage for images, video, fonts and imported files — 1 GB on Free, 10 GB on Solo, 50 GB on Pro and 200 GB on Team. Documents themselves don't count; only the media you upload.
What happens after the Pro trial?
The 14-day Pro trial needs no card. When it ends you simply choose a paid plan, or do nothing and slide onto Free — your documents stay safe, and Pro-only features pause until you upgrade.
